A

autographing copies of his new book at the Lapua booth, number 3036. For
more information, and possibly to set up an interview, e-mail Adam Braverman or

Jerry
Miculek, champion in action pistol, rifle and shotgun, and a renowned revolver
master and instructor with his own company, Bang, Inc., will be making one-hour

promotion during the SHOT Show, fill out the form and we'll try to
publicize your promotion.
Honor
the SHOT Show ® Trademark
Remember, the SHOT Show ® name and logo are registered trademarks of the NSSF

The
number of magazines, Web sites, blogs, and Web forums featuring information
about the SHOT Show ® is staggering. The National Shooting Sports Foundation,
which owns the SHOT Show, is appreciative of all of the publicity and news
coverage the show receives in print and online each year and hopes that shooting,
hunting and outdoor trade will continue to attend and publish their own unique
accounts and experiences of the show. There are, however, some caveats. The
SHOT Show® name and logo are registered trademarks owned exclusively by
NSSF, which takes great strides to protect the SHOT Show ® brand. Although
use of SHOT Show ® trademarks in an editorial context is permissible, use of
the SHOT Show ® name or logo, or of any deceptively similar name or logo, for
gain or profit is prohibited. NSSF is always monitoring the use of its
trademarks and will vigorously enforce its rights against alleged infringers.
To
report an infringement of the SHOT Show ® name and logo please contact the NSSF's
Legal Department at 203-426-1320 or jyue@nssf.org.
Lowdown on Credit Cards
Not all credit cards will be accepted at the SHOT Show?
If
you plan to pay for expenses at the SHOT Show ® with credit cards, note that
not all plastic will be accepted.
For example, at the Members Lounge, American Express, Visa and MasterCard
are the only cards that will be honored for meals.
The
National Shooting Sports Foundation booth, at Sands Level 2 Lobby, booth number
L221, is where members can, among other things, renew their membership status. The booth will be accepting MasterCard, Visa, American Express
and Discover. Cash, however, cannot be used as payment.

Important Reminders
Have
you registered for the show? For SHOT Show ® University?
Bought tickets for the
State of the Industry Dinner on Jan. 20?

With
all the plans you may have made for the SHOT Show, is it possible you have
forgotten some of the basics?
For
example, have you registered to attend the show? If not, do it
now. The cost is $20 now; $50 at the door.
SHOT
Show University can be one of the highlights of a retailer's SHOT
Show experience. Attending the university the day before the show opens -- Monday,
Jan. 18, 2010 -- means you won't miss any time on the floor but will
gain an invaluable opportunity to improve your business through education and
networking. Learn more.
More
than 1,500 industry members spent the opening evening of the SHOT Show ® at NSSF's State of the Industry Dinner and Concert in 2009, and as many
are expected at the 2010 event. There, a cocktail hour sponsored by Safari
Club International and Outdoor Channel, a several-course dinner, a video report
to members on the highlights of 2009 and important messages from key industry
personnel, capped by an exclusive performance by comedic genius Dennis Miller,
make up a can't-miss occasion. Get
more details and order your tickets.
Plan Your Schedule in Advance
You can "MapYourShow" from your own computer
At
the official SHOT Show ® Web site, www.shotshow.org,
you will find the 2010 Floor Plan Navigator. This ingenious application
will allow you to review the entire SHOT Show ® layout at the comfort of your
computer station.
You
can search the entire list of exhibitors, search their products and get a facility
overview. Then you can map out your own planned schedule and
route with the My Show Planner feature.
Here's a round-up of the application's
features, and how to best utilize them:
|
Search the Show
Using the search types provided, you can pinpoint exactly who you want
to see at the show. To see all search options, roll over the "Search
the Show" tab at the top left corner of the page and select the
option that best fits your needs.

detailed product displays, descriptions and/or live flash or video
presentations.

a portion of the name or search using the on-screen keyboard by first
letter of exhibitor name
-
Search by Product: Use our extensive product category search to discover
all of the companies who offer the products you're interested
in.
On the bottom left of the floor plan, use the zoom tool at any point
to enlarge the floor plan. When scrolling over booths on the floor plan,
the exhibitor name and booth number will appear. Clicking on the actual
booth displays additional exhibitor information.

and your feet many steps in the process. Click on the 'My Show
Planner' icon to learn about the features within the Agenda Planner.
The sign up form will appear at the top of the screen; click on 'Create
New Account' to get started.

the companies in which you're interested. Select the exhibitor's
name to view more details about the company on the floor plan and add

Exhibitors can also be added directly from within the list of search
results by checking the corresponding box next to the exhibitor name.
Optionally, you can quickly create your list by selecting 'Profile

This option allows you to select a category and simply add all of the
companies who are exhibiting this product.
When your agenda is ready, click print and have a handy list of the exhibitors
you added to your agenda. All exhibitors in your agenda will be highlighted on

A Few Press Conference Room Slots Still Available
First
come, first served for few remaining openings
The
SHOT Show ® Press Conference Room, Venetian Level 2 Bassano 2601, has been in
much demand, as it allows exhibitors a free facility for up to one hour to
deliver their message to interested members of the press corps in attendance
at the show.
The SHOT Show ® is the prime place to reveal new products and other important
messages to the largest gathering of outdoor media in the world.
A
few openings still exist. At the time of this writing, only four periods
were still available on a first-come, first-served basis.
